A.maria, this is an impossible question to answer. You know, there are some 70 species and more than 3.500 named varietis of Sempervivums and therefore it would be just a wild guess about the species or name of the cultivar.

I myself am strictly against identification of species / cultivars with the help photos. After all, we know nothing about this plant, not a diamether, the colour/s thruout seasons, compost it's grown in, sun / shade conditions ... All this has influnce on colour and even size of a plant so the same cultivar can look pretty much different in harsh and in fave conditions. Even a bad camera (like my old one!) can change a colour of rosette drasticly.

Years ago when I started my collection, any name & plant was o.k. with me. Now I realize there are many wrongly labeled plants in collections, including mine!

I know this might be a rather dissapointing for you and my other fine colegues might dissagre with me and tell you the name they beleive it's right. This is just my point of view.

The only way to identifiy plant 100% right is to compare it to a known name variety / species in similar conditions - same compost, same watering, same sun / shade ... all in all - you need to grow them together at least for a year or two.

I am pretty sure that this simply is Semp. tectorum.
Where did you get it from?
