Resenik is a 735 m high hill close to Donačka gora on the borderline between Slovenia and Croatia.

The locality of S. wulfenii subsp. juvani is at aprox. 500 m above sea level.

There is a plant in cultivation under the name "S. juvanii from Resenik". I was very happy to obtain this plant some months ago. However, it seems possible that it is an incorrect identification and that the plant in question is a hybrid. My plants are still small, I plan to post a photograph soon.

is the picture shown in the link above from you? If yes, would you please show it in our Naturformen-Lexikon on www.sempervivum-liste.de ? I also took your informations over Resenik there.

illustrator has shown there his false plant and we could compare the pictures.

The photo is an old one (probably a scanned slide) from mr. Jure Slatner. I am not sure how often he is reading forums, I could however ask him.
