S. annetiense thin (?) long stolons

Post by Chromaphyo on Tue Aug 12, 2008 5:55 pm

I have this "species" from Renee. I have doubts with this label because I don't find this name in Sempervivophila (G. Dumont)
What is your opinion withis this species (or cultivar ?). I think that this plant is closed with S. altum or S. charadzeae
Thanks

Hm, hm, I am surely no good to answer this.

I've haven't made any real progress discovering the mistery origin of thius plant :

S. annetiense n.n. : n.n. means nomen nudum - a specie has no real description

I got my plant from a guy from Hungary. Noone else seems to grow this plant - so it must be VERY rare in collections.

I still haven't found out anything about it's name and origin, so I am jist as curious as you ...

I have many plants labelled S. ossetiense.. the plant at your picture looks more like S. charadzae.. S. ermanicum, S. iranicum, S. caucasicum are very similar...

This ist the plant I'll sale labelled S. ossetiense
