Nice you found this place I, haven't come across it before.

This nursery is rather new. I beleive it is only open for couple of months now.

I would be interested in buying some, too, but to go thru the whole torture of opening and closing an PayPal account just to buy some sempervivums.... NO!

I choose nurseries that I can pay in adwance by bank transfer. This is for me the quickest, safest and easiest way to pay.

I've also found this website by surfing - just waiting for them to be up and running but I have to say im glad its Paypal - cos it's alot quicker to pay - but I guess if you dont use Paypal theres no point - I use it all the time with things like ebay etc. I cant wait to get more plants for my rather small collection Very Happy

From here, bank transfers are hideously expensive! Recently, I wanted to send some money from my mother, to my sister, who lives in the next province; from one Canadian bank to another--they said it would cost $30- $80 on $350, and they would not know how much until they did the transaction!! and it would take up to 3 business days!!! We did not do it! I hate to even imagine how much it would cost to send money to another country! So I am happy for paypal or credit card payment, and I have sent cash safely to europe also!

Hi All ,
Just thought I'd do a purchaser review of this new nursery. Very well organised and shipped carefully and arrived within 72 hrs of purchase . All plants in nice condition and with 2 heads . Came as offsets , some small , with explanation that adult plants are in danger of terminally flowering soon . Not usually ex-pots with roots . Standard price from Ł1.90 incl postage .
Overall well satisfied and PAYPAL makes it so easy ( Renata !!). Range of available plants is good .

Regards

John Collins

I am waiting for a delivery from this nursery so will post again when I receive it. Rather longer to wait than John - I ordered the plants on Friday 29/07/2011 and was advised that they would be despatched on Monday 08/08/2011. Not sure why there would be such a long delay in posting them.

Update as promised! I received my order from this nursery on Tuesday 09/08/2011 and the plants were excellent. I received three individual rosettes of the 13 plants I ordered, each was an established and well rooted plant, although some of the roots had been trimmed which is a slight problem for me as I have a lot of blackbirds in my garden and they are inclined to peck about in the pots, dislodging any plants which aren't well anchored. I have just placed another small order (over the weekend) and have received an email saying that it has been despatched so I assume perhaps the nursery owner was away for a week when I placed my first order, hence the delay.

I have now placed and received three orders with this nursery and all the plants were very good. Apart from the first delivery, which took a while, my plants have arrived very quickly. The nursery doesn't seem to offer all the species shown Renata's list for 2010, which is a pity as I like to collect regional variations and it can be difficult to find them available in the UK.

The website for this nursery is no longer available and it would appear that the nursery is no longer in operation. I looked last year and it said the site was being updated and would be available in 2014 but it's not there. Will keep an eye on it as it was a very good source of plants.
