Riaņo is a town in the province of Leon in northern Spain.

The town was covered by water during the construction of a dam and reservoir in 1980's.

A new town was built on the reservoir's bank.

I've found S. cantabricum ex Riaņo mentioned for the first time back in 1975 - this was well before town was deliberately flooded.

There is no doubt the plant was not found in the town itself, but in it's surroundings. Question is if the habitat was not flooded, too.
