In love with yellow colour? Than Birchmeyer is the right choice for you, Will be this light lemon green early in spring, after a very rainy month with almost no sunshine.

Threre's much fuzz about the name. Wrong form of the name is Birchmaier.

Birchmeyer is a synonim for Royanum. I got this plant under the name Birchmeyer.

It is a Sempervivum tectorum cultivar, coilected in Roya, Alpes Maritimes, back in 1914. Henry Correvon named it 10 years later, in 1924.

Since it is a Sempervivum tectorum cultivar it is supposed to be pretty large - it grows up to 12 cm in diamether.
