Donačka gora

One of ONLY two habitats os S. wulfenii subsp. juvanii (both are in Slovenia) is Donačka gora.

I search this species. I have lost my sigle plant ...

I've bought mine couple of years ago in Ljubljana Botanical garden. Since that time there has been a little progres - I could say I only get chicks from every 5 th plant every year, five plants give me a chick or two a year! It is a very slowly grower and I've lost some plants during rainy winters, too. It's kinda sensitive, like S. atlanticum - I guess.

Donacka or Donačka gora?

Correct name of the habitat is Donačka gora.

Slovene letter "č" is pronounced as "ch" in English word "much".

Donačka gora in Slovenia is a habitat of S. wulfenii ssp. juvanii.

It is a 884 m high hill in eastern Slovenia, the very last part of Karavanke mountain range. It is a one of two habitats of Sempervivum wulfenii ssp. juvanii.

The other habitat of J. wulfenii ssp. juvanii is mountain Resenik.
