Interesting 125 years old description!

S. laggeri Pfm-lagger
June 2008

Plant was bought in a local garden center is but of Dutch origin ...

S. laggerii was described by Schott (1853) and is a synonim for S. arachhnoideum var. laggerii and S. arachnoideum subsp. tomentosum.

Wrongly written name is "lagerii" (one G instead of two!) or laggerii (2 i's!).

Sempervivum laggerii Schott ex Hallier 1892 is now S. arachnoideum ssp. tomentosum. I do not beleive the plant on the photo = the plant I have is correctly named.
