Treska Gorge is a habitat of J. heuffelii.

Treska Gorge is in Macedonia, former Yugoslav country. Word "Gorge" is not a part of it's original name.

J. heuffelii var. glabra is native to Treska Gorge.

I could not find any geographical name that would mean "Treska gorge" only, there is but a gorge named Matka on Treska river.

The Matka canyon is located in the lower course of river Treska, 17 km southwest of Skopje.

To say it in everyday language = Matka (canyon) is a Treska's gorge / canyon.

Carlo K.J. DeWilde has listed J. heuffelii var. glabra ex Matka. Also Maertin Haberere and Horst Diehm list J. heuffelii ex Matka.

Is it posisible that all plants labeled as "ex Treska gorge" come from Matka canyon?
