S. dolomiticum in France? Empty S. dolomiticum in France?

S. dolomiticum is native to northern Italy, where it grows at altitude from 1.600 to 2.500 m.

Here http://www.treknature.com/gallery/photo263520.htm is a photo from Les Contamines-Montjoie, Rhone Alpes, south France and the author is claiming the plant on the photo is S. dolomiticum. Is this a case of wron ID or what?
