S. dolomoticum hairs (x montanum ?)

Post by Chromaphyo on Wed Nov 12, 2008 7:01 pm

Hi

I have this plant from Giuseppe Tavormina (Italy), a Aeonium specialist. I don't know if this hybrid is natural or artificial.
Dear firiend,
This plant is from the collection of Roberto Conti (Switzerland) a friend of G. Tavormina.
The original label is as Semp. dolomiticum without field data or source.
I have only one rosette but it is a very beautiful an unusual semp for me Smile

S. dolomiticum hairs (x montanum ?), maybe a hybrid from uncertain origin

I think it is not an hybrid of S. dolomiticum. Certainly one parent is S. arachnoideum but the other parent is not dolomiticum and not even montanum. I think this is a cultivar.
